Evaluation of Risk Factors and Outcomes of Isolated Tricuspid Valve Replacement with a Conventional Surgical Approach: A Retrospective Cohort Study

Introduction. Tricuspid valve (TV) disease is substantially less common than mitral or aortic disease, and it commonly missed due to the tolerability of stenosis regurgitation. Adults seldom have primary tricuspid regurgitation, which linked rheumatic heart infectious endocarditis, myxomatous congenital carcinoid syndrome, and/or infiltrative valvopathy. Materials Methods. The authors examined Valve Surgery Data Bank retrospectively identify all patients who underwent TV replacement without concomitant surgeries between 2004 2014.
